Oh Sunday, how we adore you. There’s nothing like a glorious sleep-in that then slowly morphs into a much-needed vino in hand. Wouldn’t you agree? After all, we deserve that one last hurrah before Monday.
There’s something to be said about sipping on some cold brews while surrounded by your closest mates. Throw in some good tunes, much on some delicious snackage, and there you have it—the event you’ve yearned for since last Monday.
Being the Sunday sesh Perth devotees that we are, we have created a survival guide for you, to ensure you get the best Sunday session experience in Perth.
#1 An epic view
You need to set your Sunday off on a good foot. The best way to do this is to ensure your venue has epic views.
There are plenty of Fremantle bars that we like to visit on a Sunday. However, nothing beats Coast Port Beach (maybe we’re biased). With those ocean views, big share tables, booth seating, plenty of natural light and that easily accessible bar – you’re all set for the festivities to begin.
#2 Get your group a few jugs of cocktails
Yep, we mean it. Is there ever a situation where cocktails AREN’T a good idea? Didn’t think so.
When you arrive at Coast Port Beach, be sure to ask one of our staff about our cocktail extravaganza on offer. Top tip – we recommend jugs because they are easier to carry back from the bar than several pints.
#3 Don’t leave out the carbs
You’re in it for the long haul you Sunday sesher you. Drinking on a Sunday afternoon, and Sunday feasting is not for the fainthearted. Lucky for you, Sunday is the one day in the week where carbs and calories don’t count (or at least, that’s what we tell ourselves).

#4 Picture perfect – get those snaps ready
If you didn’t capture it and post it on Instagram or Snapchat – did it happen? No. Luckily you have one awesome backdrop here at Coast Port Beach for that social media glory.
Be sure to capture all the outfits, fun, laughter and precious moments with your mates. As the afternoon gets blurrier, it’s always amazing to have photos to look back on and continue the laughter in the days after.
