Seven Areas, Three Main Event Spaces, One Beach
Most function rooms in Perth give you one room and one capacity limit. Coast is made up of seven indoor and outdoor areas, including an outdoor terrace, built around three main event spaces. Book a single area for a smaller group, or combine several as the guest list grows. You are never paying for a room twice the size you need, and you are never squeezed if numbers jump.
The BeachHouse
The fully private function room and wedding reception centre. Book it for complete privacy, a guest list of up to 250 or a more polished feel. It is the go to for wedding receptions, large engagement parties and confidential corporate events.
Cargo Bar
Some of the best ocean views of any bar in Perth. A favourite for cocktail style celebrations, client functions and product launches, where the sunset does half the work.
Central Coast
The main floor, easily set up for cocktail, seated or open flow functions and semi-private reserved zones. It is the most adaptable space at Coast and the one that scales best as numbers grow.
Port Beach Garden Bar
An outdoor garden space with its own private facilities. It suits relaxed afternoon into evening events, from long table lunches for 20 to 50 guests through to cocktail parties for up to 120.
The Beach Cabana
The newest space, designed for 21sts and engagement parties. A semi-private area with its own private bar, right beside the resident DJ, so you get privacy and atmosphere without the large minimum spend of a full private room.

- 250 to 1,100 guests. Combined spaces or a full venue takeover with beachfront access.

Corporate Events
EOFY parties, Christmas functions, client events, networking nights, product launches, team off-sites and conferences. The space is set up as cocktail, seated or open flow around your run sheet, and one coordinator handles the run sheet, catering and logistics from enquiry to event day. Corporate event packages start from $120 per person for cocktail style events. EOFY (June to July) and December fill up months ahead, so get in early.

Engagement Parties
Coast hosts hundreds of engagements every year, mostly as casual cocktail receptions where the music and atmosphere are already laid on. Birthdays and Milestones

Weddings
Say “I do” on the beach, then move inside for the reception without anyone getting back in a car. The BeachHouse is the dedicated reception centre, and every couple has a wedding coordinator from first enquiry to final farewell. A Budget Formula That Suits Whoever Is Paying
This is where flexibility really counts. Whether the host is paying, the guests are paying, or it is a bit of both, there are five ways to run your event.
- Reserve a semi-private area. Guests buy their own drinks. The simplest, lowest fuss option.
- Pre-order food. Platters or canapés from as little as around $30 per person.
- Set a bar tab. For as much, or as little, as you like. Start it, top it up and close it when you want.
- Host a fully prepaid event. Food and drinks locked in from the start, so there are no surprises on the night.
- Prepay a minimum spend. It can be refunded to you if your guests spend enough on the day.
If you want to take things further, add a DJ, live music, styling, cake stands, late night snacks or photo moments.
Food and Drinks Made on Site
All food is prepared in house using fresh local WA produce, from a casual pub style menu that changes with the seasons. For functions that means canapés and cocktail menus for mingling at sunset, shared platters and share boards, wood fired pizzas and small plates for more relaxed parties, and set course or plated dinners with full restaurant service for formal occasions.
Dietary requirements are noted at the brief and built into the catering plan from day one, rather than sorted out on the night. On the bar side there are craft beers, local wines and signature cocktails, served on whichever tab or package suits your group.
Indoor, Outdoor and Right on the Sand
Perth weather is usually on your side, but it pays to have options. The indoor and outdoor areas sit side by side, so an event can move between terrace, garden and indoor spaces depending on the weather and the mood. For the biggest nights, functions can extend onto the beach itself.
The setting does a lot of the work. Sunsets over the Indian Ocean, views across the water to Rottnest and a relaxed beach house atmosphere mean you need far less styling to make the space feel special. Coast also has no noise restrictions, so the celebration can keep going long after most venues would be calling last drinks.
